Snowshoeing Basics

February 3, 2010; 7-9:30pm Classroom Session (Oakland)
February 6, 2010; All Day Field Session (Tahoe National Forest)

This fun, experience based class is geared towards adults who work with youth, and will teach you first in a classroom, preparing you with information about clothing and equipment, and then ON THE SNOW in the mountains of Tahoe National Forrest. Topics will include: snow safety, proper equipment, kids and snowshoeing, and practical logistics - all of which will help you get the youth you serve outdoors and into the snow! Completion of the course allows you access to BAWT’s snowshoe gear and winter clothing. All gear included.

Kids love to snowshoe! Photos
